WAVit Cash Discount Program
What is the WAVit Program?
WAVit is a cash discount program designed to allow merchants to offset high credit card processing fees. Due to changes in card network rules, merchants now have the option to charge different prices for cash and credit card transactions. With WAVit, merchants pay a fixed monthly price for unlimited processing.
How does WAVit work?
The WAVit program allows unlimited processing volume for a single flat monthly fee. Merchants are provided with signage to inform their customers that all posted prices are at the cash discounted price For transactions where customers choose to pay with credit cards, the difference between the cash price and the credit price is added as a standard adjustment to the total price.
What is a cash discount program?
All items sold by the merchant are discounted for cash purchases. Merchants can offer their customers more competitive prices while reducing operating costs. All items sold by the merchant are discounted for cash purchases. All non-cash purchases will not receive the cash discount and the difference will be added as a standard adjustment* to the current marked price at checkout.
